Sign up with your phone or email. Browsing is open to everyone; you only need an account to book inspections and apply.

Search verified listings
Filter by area, budget, and property type. Every listing shows the true annual rent — landlords on RentDirect agree to one rule: no hidden charges.

Book an inspection
Pick a time that works. Chat with the RentDirect team in-app — we answer your questions and coordinate everything with the landlord for you. The exact address is shared once your inspection is confirmed.

Apply and pay into escrow
Happy with the house? Apply, and once the landlord accepts, pay rent + the service fee (5%, minimum ₦50,000) by card, bank transfer, or USSD. RentDirect holds the money — the landlord can see it's paid but can't touch it yet.

Get your keys and confirm
The landlord hands over the keys and your generated tenancy agreement. You confirm move-in within 48 hours (or raise a dispute if something is wrong).

Landlord gets paid
Only after your confirmation does RentDirect release the rent to the landlord's bank account. Nobody can collect your money and disappear.

Why escrow matters in Enugu
The most painful rental scam is paying for a house that gets handed to someone else — or that the “agent” never had the right to let at all.
